Thibaut Drege has returned as General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris after two years leading the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.

“My career has taken me worldwide, nurturing my appetite for discovering new cultures and countries. Yet, Paris holds a special place in my heart – it’s the city of my roots and where I grew up. It is a capital imbued with timeless allure, yet ever forward-looking. I am thrilled to be returning to this extraordinary city that has shaped so much of my personal and professional identity,” comments Thibaut Drege.

Thibaut Drege graduated from the École Hôtelière de Lausanne and has almost 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, both in France and around the world. He started working for Four Seasons in 2018 as the Hotel Manager at the George V Palace.

Within this Parisian palace, Thibaut Drege earned the respect and admiration of a 600-strong team. Guided by his passion and unwavering dedication to this global icon of hospitality, he infused the Hotel with dynamic energy, devoting nearly five years to crafting unique guest experiences.

After playing a crucial role in the hotel's success during several challenges, including the global health crisis, Thibaut Drege relocated to Budapest in 2022 to become the General Manager of the Four Seasons Gresham Palace. Set in an iconic European location and an architectural gem along the banks of the Danube, he brought renewed energy to the property and guided it toward excellence. Eventually, he returned to Paris to lead the hotel that holds a special place in his heart.

As General Manager, Thibaut Drege aims to strengthen the principles that have established the hotel's international reputation while incorporating his vision, experience, and energy into every initiative. He is also dedicated to promoting a culture of kindness and empathy in his management approach to the team.
