APPOINTMENT

The Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru has appointed Biswajit Chakraborty as the new General Manager. Biswajit Chakraborty brings a wealth of knowledge to this landmark hotel with more than thirty years of experience in luxury hospitality.

Mr Chakraborty has established himself as a proactive hotelier with a strategic vision by holding significant leadership positions at prestigious luxury brands such as Oberoi, Taj, The Leela, and Accor. Before joining Four Seasons, he was the Managing Director of Hotelivate, a renowned hospitality consulting company. Highlights of his career include positions as General Manager at The Oberoi Grand Kolkata and the Sofitel Mumbai BKC, where his leadership helped the hotels achieve long-term success.

In addition to a degree from Cornell University, Mr Chakraborty has degrees from Christ College and Bangalore University. A real globetrotter, BC's love of reading, music, travel, and expert archery demonstrate his profound respect for culture and way of life. He trained in kung fu, has a black belt in karate, and participates actively in the Rotary Club. BC hopes to uphold the Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru's tradition of individualised service while improving the visitor experience in his new position. Under his direction, the hotel is expected to reach new heights of excellence and solidify its position as Bengaluru's top luxury destination.
