The property will operate as a pure-vegetarian hotel, reflecting changing guest preferences in the region. Positioned as a full-service offering, it will feature multiple dining options, banquet and conferencing facilities, and wellness amenities such as a fitness centre, spa and swimming pool.

The hotel’s banquet and event spaces are expected to support demand for weddings, social gatherings and MICE activity in the city.

Commenting on the development, Vijay Singh Daga and Pankaj Kumar Jain of Om Arham Ventures said: “We are pleased to partner with Wyndham to bring an internationally recognised brand to Guwahati. With a vegetarian concept and significant event facilities, we believe the hotel will contribute to the city’s hospitality landscape.”

As connectivity and economic activity expand, demand for quality hospitality continues to rise. This signing aligns with our focus on expanding in key growth markets while strengthening our presence in India.”

With this development, Wyndham continues to expand its pipeline in India, supporting its long-term plans in emerging markets.
