Lemon Tree Hotels Limited has announced a series of strategic leadership changes, effective October 1st, 2025, subject to shareholders’ approval. These appointments highlight Lemon Tree’s commitment to fostering strong leadership for continued growth and expansion.
Patanjali Govind Keswani to continue as Executive Chairman at Lemon Tree Hotels & Fleur Hotels Limited (A material subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels)
Patanjali Govind Keswani will continue as Executive Chairman of Lemon Tree Hotels. He will chair the Board of Directors and focus on ensuring a seamless transition of his executive and operational role to the Managing Director and CEO. He will also work on strengthening Lemon Tree Hotels’ expansion while providing strategic oversight and governance.
At Fleur Hotels Limited, a material subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, Patanjali Govind Keswani will also continue as Executive Chairman. He will focus on ensuring a smooth handover of his operational role to the Managing Director and CEO, guiding the company’s expansion plans through a structured capital allocation strategy.
Neelendra Singh- appointed as Managing Director at Lemon Tree Hotels
Neelendra holds over 26 years of experience. He began his professional career at Shoppers’ Stop in 1999 as a Senior Officer in Retail Operations. His most recent and longest professional stint has been with Adidas where he started as Regional Manager, West India in 2005, where he grew through the ranks and eventually was appointed as the General Manager/Managing Director in India.
Kapil Sharma- promoted to the Board as Executive Director and CFO
Kapil Sharma has been promoted to the Board as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer. A Chartered Accountant, he has over 30 years of experience in financial management and has been a part of Lemon Tree Hotels since 2004. In his current role as CFO, he has led key initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, project financing, and the company’s listing. As Executive Director and CFO, he will continue to oversee finance, strategy, technology, legal, secretarial, and procurement functions.
Vishvapreet Singh Cheema to continue as President at Lemon Tree Hotels
Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, who was appointed as President on June 9, 2025, will continue to oversee operations, human resources, and the revenue function. With 28 years of hospitality experience, his previous role was Director of Operations for Southwest Asia at IHG Hotels & Resorts. He has also worked with renowned names such as Oberoi Hotels, IHHR Hospitality, Radisson Hotel Group, Marriott International, and Carnival UK (P&O Cruises).
Saurabh Shatdal- appointed as Managing Director and CEO of Fleur Hotels Limited
Saurabh Shatdal has been appointed as Managing Director and CEO of Fleur Hotels Limited. Saurabh brings 27 years of experience in capital raising, land acquisitions, deal structuring, and hospitality operations. He has also worked with CBRE, Regus Group Plc, ITC Hotels, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien Hotels, and The Leela Group of Hotels.
Mayank Sharma to continue as CFO at Fleur Hotels Limited
Mayank Sharma will continue as Chief Financial Officer of Fleur Hotels Limited, overseeing finance, strategy, technology, asset management, and procurement. A Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience, he has expertise in financial management, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.
Sanjeev Jain to continue as Vice President – Projects & Engineering at Fleur Hotels Limited
Sanjeev Jain will continue as Vice President – Projects & Engineering at Fleur Hotels Limited. He is responsible for design, project management, and also overseeing development of greenfield and brownfield hotel projects, conversions, and ongoing renovations. Sanjeev holds 33 years of experience. He began his career with NBCC Limited and was last associated with Bloom Hotels as Chief Standards Officer.
