JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar Appoints New Executive Housekeeper

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of  Surat Chand as the Executive Housekeeper. 

JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar Hotel has appointed Suraj Chand as its new Executive Housekeeper. With a career of nearly two decades across leading hotels in the country, Suraj brings expertise in operations, team leadership, luxury service delivery, and elevating guest standards.

Before this appointment, Suraj was appointed at The Westin Goa as Executive Housekeeper. Prior to this, he spent nine years at The St. Regis Mumbai and progressed in many roles including Housekeeping Executive, Assistant Housekeeping Manager, and Manager Housekeeping.

Suraj has also worked with Grand Hyatt Mumbai, InterContinental Hotels, and ITC Grand Maratha.

In his new role at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Surat will oversee all functions across the Housekeeping Department, focusing on services, brand standards, guest room quality, and training-led excellence.

Commenting on his appointment, Suraj Chand, said, “Excellence in housekeeping comes from attention to every detail and empowering the team to deliver seamless service. At JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, my focus will be on creating guest experiences defined by comfort, cleanliness, and consistency.”
