JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa Appoints Subhajit Chakraborty as Director of Catering Sales

JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa has appointed Subhajit Chakraborty as Director of Catering Sales.

With over 13 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Subhajit brings strong expertise in MICE, large-scale event planning, revenue management and resort sales.

In his new role at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa , he will lead the catering sales strategy, drive market expansion and further enhance the resort’s positioning as a preferred venue for high-profile social and corporate events.

Prior to this, Subhajit served as Director of Convention & Events at Hotel Yak & Yeti, where he played a key role in repositioning the hotel, strengthening its presence across Indian and Southeast Asian MICE markets, and driving significant revenue from the Indian wedding segment. He also held the role of Director of Catering Sales at JW Marriott Kolkata, contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Subhajit’s career includes key tenures with leading hospitality brands such as The Leela Palace Bengaluru and JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa, where he managed large revenue portfolios, led multi-city sales teams and supported pre-opening and positioning strategies for key properties. His experience spans extensive banquet operations, key account management and events across diverse markets.
