IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud in partnership with Ristia Group, further expanding its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio in Indonesia.

Set to open in 2027, the 130-room property will introduce the Hotel Indigo brand to Ubud, following the recent announcement of Kimpton Bali Ubud. Chris Anklin, Senior Director, Development, South East Asia and Korea, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said: “Indonesia remains an important market for IHG, and we are pleased to introduce Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud. We look forward to opening the hotel in 2027 and working closely with the surrounding community.”

IHG currently has 33 open hotels in Indonesia and 12 more under development.

Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud will be situated near Blangsinga Waterfall and Village, which features a crafts market, a retail center, and a glass-bottom bridge. Nestled beside an ancient riverside temple and amidst a beautiful hillside landscape, the hotel aims to provide guests with a deep connection to the local culture, environment, and artistic activities.

Michella Ristiadewi, Commissioner, Ristia Group, said: “We are pleased to collaborate with IHG on Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud. The brand’s focus on neighbourhood storytelling aligns well with Ubud’s cultural and natural surroundings. Our aim is to create a destination that appeals to both domestic and international travellers.”

Ubud continues to attract travellers seeking cultural, wellness-focused, and nature-led experiences. Hotel Indigo Bali Ubud will feature neighbourhood guides, social activities, and dining options intended to reflect the local setting.

The property will join existing Hotel Indigo locations in Bali Seminyak Beach, Bandung Dago Pakar, and Bintan Lagoi Beach, along with additional Luxury & Lifestyle hotels, including Regent Bali Canggu and Six Senses Uluwatu.
