Hyatt Place Opens New Hotel in Jiaxing Nanhu

Jiaxing Nanhu Welcomes Hyatt Place

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu, marking the brand’s debut in Jiaxing, China. The new hotel expands Hyatt Place’s presence in the Yangtze River Delta while offering business and leisure travellers a new accommodation option in the region.

Located on the shores of South Lake, the hotel is close to Nanhu Place, a mixed-use destination featuring retail, dining and heritage-inspired architecture. It also offers convenient access to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Suzhou, all within about an hour by road, as well as high-speed rail and air transport links.

Inspired by Jiaxing’s cultural heritage, the hotel combines contemporary interiors with design elements influenced by the Jiangnan water towns. It offers 241 guest rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, premium bedding and Hyatt Place’s signature Cozy Corner with sofa sleeper. Selected rooms include private courtyards, while pet-friendly accommodation is also available.

Dining is available throughout the day at The Kitchen, which serves a selection of international dishes alongside local Jiaxing cuisine. Guests can also enjoy outdoor seating overlooking the waterfront.

Other facilities include a fully equipped fitness centre, a 24-hour convenience market, complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property and a VIP meeting room with audiovisual facilities for business meetings, workshops and training sessions.

Katharine Li, General Manager of Hyatt Place Jiaxing Nanhu, said the hotel introduces the Hyatt Place brand to a destination recognised for its waterways, cultural heritage and local attractions. She added that the property has been designed to support both work and relaxation through flexible spaces and guest-focused amenities.

The opening strengthens Hyatt’s presence in eastern China while providing travellers with another accommodation option in the Yangtze River Delta region.
