Frontier Airlines Expands

with Eight New Routes and Introductory Fares

Frontier Airlines has launched eight new routes across the United States, taking over services previously operated by Spirit Airlines. The new flights began operating on 5 and 6 July, strengthening connectivity between several major cities while offering travellers additional low-cost travel options.

To mark the launch, the airline has introduced promotional one-way fares starting from $39 on selected routes for a limited period.

The newly launched routes include:

  • Boston – Orlando: Daily from 5 July
  • Dallas/Fort Worth – New Orleans: Daily from 5 July
  • Detroit – Fort Lauderdale: Daily from 5 July
  • Detroit – Philadelphia: Daily from 5 July
  • Detroit – Las Vegas: Daily from 6 July
  • Fort Lauderdale – Detroit: Daily from 5 July
  • Las Vegas – Kansas City: Four weekly flights from 5 July
  • Las Vegas – Detroit: Daily from 6 July
  • Kansas City – Las Vegas: Four weekly flights from 5 July
  • Orlando – Boston: Daily from 5 July
  • Orlando – Memphis: Three weekly flights from 5 July
  • Orlando – Richmond: Three weekly flights from 5 July
  • Memphis – Orlando: Three weekly flights from 5 July
  • New Orleans – Dallas/Fort Worth: Daily from 5 July
  • Philadelphia – Detroit: Daily from 5 July
  • Richmond – Orlando: Three weekly flights from 5 July

Flight schedules may change, and passengers are advised to check the airline’s website for the latest timings.

Alongside the network expansion, Frontier continues to introduce updates to its onboard experience. The airline now offers UpFront Plus seating in the first two rows, providing extra legroom and an empty middle seat. It also plans to introduce First Class seating in 2026.

The carrier has also expanded its benefits through its Frontier Miles loyalty programme, allowing members to earn miles based on ticket spending and offering priority boarding, seat selection, and baggage allowances depending on membership tier.

As part of the launch, promotional fares are available for booking until 12 July 2026, with travel on selected nonstop routes between 3 August and 2 September 2026. Terms and conditions apply.
