APPOINTMENT
Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta has announced the appointment of Margit Tedjasasmita as Commercial Director, effective March 4, 2026.

In her new role, Margit will oversee the hotel’s sales, marketing, public relations, and revenue functions, supporting the property’s commercial strategy and market positioning. Based at the hotel’s Capital Place location, she will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth and strengthen brand presence in Jakarta’s luxury hospitality segment.
Margit brings over 17 years of experience in the hospitality sector, including a decade in senior commercial leadership roles at Raffles Jakarta, where she most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing. Her career spans sales, marketing, and events, with a focus on developing integrated strategies, building corporate partnerships, and supporting market share growth.
Prior to that, she spent six years with another international hotel, gaining experience in event sales and client engagement. Her approach to leadership centres on team development and relationship-building across business and community networks.

Commenting on the appointment, Samit Ganguly, General Manager, said, “Margit brings not only understanding of the Jakarta market, but also a genuine warmth and collaborative spirit that align seamlessly with our culture at Four Seasons. Her strong reputation across the business community, combined with her ability to foster meaningful relationships and inspire teams, makes her an outstanding addition to the senior leadership team.
Her commercial discipline, strategic perspective, and partnership mindset will strengthen the Hotel’s market positioning and strengthen our connection with the community.”
“Joining Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta is both a privilege and an exciting opportunity,” says Margit Tedjasasmita. “The Hotel is recognised for its commitment to excellence and its strong connection to the Jakarta community. I look forward to collaborating with the teams to strengthen market presence and create value through intentional, guest-centred commercial strategies that reflect the spirit of Jakarta and the warmth of Indonesian hospitality.”
