ECKO Hotels & Resorts has appointed Chunduru Prem Kumar as Chief Financial Officer.

A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Prem Kumar brings over 17 years of experience across corporate finance, governance, risk management, taxation, and business transformation. He is a Founder Partner at M/s. Chunduru & Co., Chartered Accountants, and a Certified Peer Reviewer, with experience advising organisations on financial strategy, funding, restructuring, and regulatory compliance.

His professional background includes work across statutory, internal, forensic, and bank audits, along with financial modelling, project finance, treasury management, and tax strategy. He has also been involved in large banking assignments, including central statutory audit engagements for public sector banks.

In his new role at ECKO Hotels & Resorts, Prem Kumar will work closely with Founder Perkin Rocha to oversee finance, treasury, taxation, governance, compliance, and risk functions, supporting the company’s expansion plans. The group currently operates 12 hotels, with additional properties under development.
