Douglas Glen Appointed as New General Manager at Carlton City Hotel

APPOINTMENT

Carlton City Hotel Singapore has announced the appointment of Douglas Glen as the new General Manager.

This appointment marks his return to the hotel after previously leading the team through the pandemic period.

Douglas holds over three decades of hospitality experience, having held senior positions at properties including The Regent Hotel Group in Hua Hin, The Royal Cliff Hotels Group in Pattaya, The Steigenberger Riverside Bangkok, The Landmark Bangkok, and The Landmark London.

In his new role as General Manager, Douglas will oversee all operational and financial aspects of the hotel, driving strategic growth while maintaining the hallmark standards of hospitality excellence.

He began his hospitality journey in London after completing his Hotel and Catering studies. His career spans several establishments, from Grosvenor House and The Royal Lancaster to The Hyatt Carlton Tower and The London Hilton on Park Lane.
