Destination by Hyatt Opens Parian Chronicle Hotel in Paros
Hyatt Expands Destination by Hyatt Brand in Greece
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Parian Chronicle Hotel Paros, introducing the Destination by Hyatt brand to the Greek island of Paros.
Located in the village of Kampos, close to Parikia Port and the island’s airport, the 50-room hotel is managed by SWOT Hospitality. The opening marks the second Destination by Hyatt property in Greece and the brand’s first hotel on a Greek island.
Inspired by the ancient Parian Chronicle, a marble inscription documenting Greek history and mythology, the hotel has been designed to reflect the island’s cultural heritage while offering contemporary accommodation and leisure facilities.
The property features 50 guestrooms and suites, with 39 rooms offering private pools and the remaining rooms equipped with outdoor jacuzzis. Each room includes a private terrace or patio overlooking the sea or the surrounding landscape.
Designed by Makridis Associates, the hotel’s architecture incorporates traditional Cycladic influences with natural materials such as stone, wood and linen. The interiors draw inspiration from Paros’ marble, coastline and landscape, using neutral colours and natural textures throughout.
The hotel’s signature restaurant, NAAO, serves locally inspired cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients sourced from producers across Paros. Guests can also take part in food tastings, culinary experiences and gatherings celebrating the island’s local traditions.
Wellness facilities include the Nipson Spa, featuring treatment rooms, saunas, relaxation spaces and a fitness centre. Guests also have access to an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the surrounding landscape.
In keeping with the Destination by Hyatt brand, the hotel offers curated experiences that introduce visitors to Paros through local villages, beaches, artisan workshops, wineries and cultural activities.
The opening forms part of Hyatt’s continued expansion across Southern Europe, strengthening the Destination by Hyatt brand’s presence in Greece and the wider Mediterranean region.
