Crimson Hotels Signs Citron Dehradun, Opening Planned for 2028
Crimson Hotels has announced the signing of a new property under its Citron brand in Dehradun, scheduled to open in 2028. The development supports the company’s ongoing portfolio expansion in key markets, offering spaces that accommodate business, leisure, and social travel needs.
Located in Dehradun, the hotel will feature 65 rooms, three food and beverage outlets, and banqueting and conferencing facilities for up to 500 guests. The property is planned to cater to business travellers, families, and the city’s wedding and events segment.
Dehradun’s role as an education centre, its proximity to Mussoorie, and its growing reputation as a destination for weddings and meetings have contributed to increased demand for hospitality options. Citron Dehradun aims to meet this demand by providing event spaces, dining options, and a contemporary stay experience.

Commenting on the signing, Sandeep Maitraya, Founder & Director, Crimson Hotels, said: “Dehradun is evolving as a city that attracts a diverse mix of travellers. The need for accommodation and event spaces has been increasing. Citron Dehradun is designed to support both individual travel needs and group events with its range of facilities.”
The hotel is positioned to serve conferences, weddings, and social events, while also offering a base for travellers visiting the city and nearby hill destinations. For Crimson Hotels, this project aligns with its focus on expanding into markets that demonstrate stable and varied hospitality demand.
