Marriott Agra appointed Utpal Kumar Dey as the new Executive Chef at Courtyard. Throughout his eighteen-year career, he has worked for well-known companies like JW Marriott, Novotel, and DoubleTree by Hilton. Chef Utpal has a wealth of knowledge in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management. His skills include creating seasonal meals with an emphasis on quality and uniqueness, as well as mastering continental, oriental, and Indian cuisines. His hands-on method ensures that every dish is carefully prepared, balancing flavour and cost without compromising quality.

Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Agra, Chef Utpal was Executive Chef at Courtyard by Marriott Raipur and Pride Plaza Hotel Kolkata, where he helped shape the culinary scene. He has also been recognized for his leadership and culinary skills. He has received various awards, including HOD of the Year at Courtyard Marriott Raipur and Manager of the Month at JW Marriott Kolkata.
