Conrad Kuala Lumpur Appoints Paola Caciolli as General Manager Ahead of Q4 2026 Opening

Conrad Kuala Lumpur has appointed Paola Caciolli as General Manager of its upcoming property in Malaysia, scheduled to open in Q4 2026.

Located in Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle, the hotel will mark Conrad’s debut in Malaysia and serve as the brand’s flagship property in Southeast Asia.

Caciolli brings over 26 years of experience in luxury hospitality across Asia and Europe. Her background spans hotel pre-openings, operations, brand positioning, commercial strategy, and guest experience.

She has been leading the pre-opening preparations for Conrad Kuala Lumpur since 2021, overseeing development, positioning, and operational planning for the project. Her previous experience includes senior leadership roles within Hilton’s luxury portfolio, including Waldorf Astoria, with assignments across China, Italy, the United Kingdom, and France.

Her career includes involvement in multiple hotel openings and brand introductions, along with experience managing luxury properties in both established and emerging markets. She has also held leadership positions at Waldorf Astoria Beijing and Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria.

In her new role, Caciolli will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s operations, including pre-opening strategy, team development, and guest experience delivery.

The upcoming Conrad Kuala Lumpur is expected to introduce a design-led luxury hospitality offering in the city, reflecting Kuala Lumpur’s growing appeal as a destination for culture, dining, and global connectivity.

This appointment aligns with Conrad’s expansion strategy in Southeast Asia and supports the brand’s entry into the Malaysian market.
