Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel Opens in Vientiane

Avani+ Expands in Laos with New Vientiane Hotel

Avani Hotels & Resorts has opened Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane Hotel, bringing the brand’s premium lifestyle offering to Laos’ capital.

Located on Fa Ngum Road, overlooking Chao Anouvong Park and the Mekong River, the 197-room hotel is designed for business travellers, leisure guests and visitors looking to explore the city.

The opening marks Avani’s second property in Laos, following Avani+ Luang Prabang. The hotel combines contemporary accommodation, dining, wellness facilities and flexible meeting spaces to cater to both local and international guests.

Accommodation ranges from Deluxe Rooms to a Presidential Suite, with layouts designed to support both work and relaxation.

The hotel is opening in phases, with selected rooms, restaurants, leisure facilities and meeting spaces available from launch. Additional venues and guest services will be introduced over the coming months.

Dining options will be rolled out in stages. Mekong Mosaic, opening on 1 July 2026, will serve international dishes alongside Lao-inspired cuisine. Sabaidee Social, scheduled for the third quarter of 2026, will offer Mediterranean-style tapas and beverages, while The Pantry will provide a café and co-working space with coffee, bakery items and grab-and-go options. Salongxay, expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, will feature Thai and Lao cuisine in a contemporary setting.

Guests can currently access the outdoor swimming pool and fitness centre, with AvaniSpa and additional wellness facilities to be introduced as the hotel completes its phased opening.

The property also includes Lanexang Hall, which can host up to 320 guests, along with meeting rooms and outdoor event spaces for conferences, social gatherings and celebrations.

As part of its sustainability approach, the hotel supports local producers and artisans, uses locally sourced ingredients where possible, offers seasonal menus and works to reduce single-use plastics through its daily operations.

Room rates start from USD 130 per night, including breakfast, taxes and fees.
