Atmantan Wellness Centre Expands to Hyderabad
Hyderabad Wellness Destination Planned by Atmantan and Swela Realty
Atmantan Wellness Centre, part of The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has announced plans to develop a new wellness destination in Hyderabad in partnership with Swela Realty LLP.
The project represents the next phase of Atmantan’s expansion strategy and will bring the brand’s integrated wellness approach to one of India’s fastest-growing metropolitan regions.
New Wellness Retreat Planned Near Hyderabad
The upcoming property will be developed across 50 acres and is expected to feature 100 rooms, advanced wellness facilities and extensive green spaces. Located around an hour from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and with easy access to Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road, the destination will combine accessibility with a secluded natural setting.
Construction is expected to culminate in an opening between 2028 and 2029.
The project is being developed in partnership with Mr. Swaran Charlakola and Mrs. Spoorthi Reddy of Swela Realty LLP, whose family has a long-standing connection to holistic healthcare and natural medicine.
Focus on Integrated Wellness
The Hyderabad retreat will continue Atmantan’s model of combining traditional Indian healing practices with modern wellness and preventive healthcare programmes.
Facilities are expected to include advanced diagnostic services, therapeutic treatments, preventive health programmes, longevity-focused wellness initiatives and personalised wellness plans tailored to individual guest requirements.
The centre will cater to domestic and international travellers seeking structured wellness experiences, including corporate executives, wellness-focused travellers and guests interested in preventive healthcare.
Designed Around Nature and Sustainability
Set among natural rock formations, hills and valleys, the property has been planned with sustainability and environmental preservation in mind.
The development will incorporate biophilic design principles, local cultural influences and ecological conservation measures. The project also aims to achieve Gold LEED certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainable construction and operations.
The layout has been designed to create intuitive guest journeys through dedicated activity, transition and relaxation zones across the resort.
Hyderabad Chosen for Growing Wellness Demand
According to Atmantan’s founders, Hyderabad was selected for its strong connectivity, growing economy, and increasing interest in health and wellness.
The city’s accessibility from major Indian markets, including Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai, as well as international destinations across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and North America, makes it a suitable location for a large-scale wellness destination.
Building on Atmantan’s Wellness Experience
The Hyderabad project will build on the success of Atmantan Wellness Centre near Pune, which has established itself as a destination for integrated wellness programmes focused on lifestyle management, preventive healthcare and holistic wellbeing.
By expanding into Hyderabad, Atmantan Wellness Centre aims to make its wellness offerings accessible to a broader audience while contributing to India’s position as a destination for wellness tourism and preventive healthcare.
The new Atmantan Wellness Centre is expected to offer personalized assessments, stress management programmes, wellness retreats and corporate wellbeing initiatives designed to support long-term health and wellbeing.
