Hyatt Regency Gurgaon Appoints Chef Irfan Sayyed as Executive Chef

Hyatt Regency Gurgaon has appointed Chef Irfan Sayyed as its new Executive Chef, reinforcing the hotel’s focus on culinary operations and guest dining experiences.
Chef Irfan brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked with global hotel brands including Hyatt, Taj Hotels, Marriott International, Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Sofitel, ITC Hotels, and Swissôtel.
Most recently, he served as Acting Executive Chef at Swissôtel Jeddah, where he managed culinary operations and kitchen leadership.
His previous assignments include roles at Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai, Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Raffles Palace Hotel Makkah, and The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake, where he was involved in culinary operations, menu development, and large-scale banquet services.
In his new role at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon, Chef Irfan will oversee all culinary functions, including restaurants, banquets, and catering. His responsibilities will include menu innovation, operational planning, and maintaining quality standards across food and beverage offerings.
The hotel noted that his experience in managing large-scale culinary operations and diverse cuisine formats is expected to support ongoing development of its dining and event services.
