Novotel Chirala Beach to Open in Andhra Pradesh by 2031

Accor has signed Novotel Chirala Beach, a 225-room beachfront resort in Andhra Pradesh, with the property scheduled to open in 2031.

Located on Chirala Beach, the resort will expand the Novotel brand’s presence in India while supporting tourism growth along the state’s coastline.

The hotel will offer guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby lounge bar, a swimming pool, a spa, a fitness centre, and approximately 1,000 square metres of banquet and meeting space. It is designed to serve leisure travellers, families, destination weddings, corporate retreats, meetings and social events.

Chirala has become an increasingly popular coastal destination due to its beaches and connectivity to Guntur, Amaravati, Vijayawada, Ongole and Hyderabad. The new resort is expected to cater to domestic travellers seeking beach holidays and event venues.

The project is being developed by Sri Bhramara Resorts, a division of Sri Bhramara Townships Pvt. Ltd., a real estate developer based in Guntur.

Ranju Alex, CEO – South Asia, Accor, said the signing supports the group’s strategy of expanding into emerging leisure destinations across India. He added that Chirala’s improving infrastructure and growing tourism activity make it an important location for the Novotel brand.

Galla Ramachandra Rao, Chairman and Managing Director, Sri Bhramara Townships Pvt. Ltd., said the partnership with Accor will bring the Novotel brand to Chirala while contributing to the region’s hospitality and tourism development.
