IHCL Q1 FY2027 Results Reflect Revenue Growth and Portfolio Expansion

The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced its consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended 30 June 2026, reporting continued growth across its hotel portfolio, management business and hospitality brands.

IHCL recorded consolidated revenue of INR 2,419 crore for Q1 FY2027, reflecting a 15% year-on-year increase. EBITDA stood at INR 753 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 31.1%, up by 80 basis points compared to the same period last year.

Commenting on the results, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO, IHCL, said the company’s diversified portfolio and business segments helped maintain growth despite broader economic challenges. Domestic like-for-like hotels recorded 14% RevPAR growth, while Growth Businesses reported a 22% increase in revenue. Management fee income also rose by 26% during the quarter.

During Q1 FY2027, IHCL signed 20 new hotels, taking its total portfolio to 645 hotels, with a pipeline of 263 properties. The company also opened 11 hotels, including new Taj properties in Frankfurt and Greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. In addition, 15 hotels from the ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality portfolios were integrated into IHCL’s brand portfolio.

The company also noted that Taj was recognized as India’s strongest brand in the Brand Finance India 100 2026 report for the fifth consecutive year.

Ankur Dalwani, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, IHCL, said the standalone business reported revenue of INR 1,298 crore, supported by 14% RevPAR growth, an EBITDA margin of 41.8%, and a profit after tax of INR 337 crore. He added that renovated hotels in Goa, Delhi and Bengaluru contributed to the quarter’s performance.

IHCL maintained a healthy financial position with gross cash reserves of INR 4,439 crore as of 30 June 2026.

  • Growth Businesses, including Ginger, Qmin, amã Stays & Trails and Tree of Life, reported enterprise revenue growth of 65% to INR 350 crore.
  • Qmin expanded to more than 100 outlets across multiple formats.
