CIMX and Sourcing China Collaborate to Enhance Buyer Engagement
The China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) has announced a partnership with Sourcing China to strengthen corporate engagement in global MICE procurement. The event is scheduled to take place from November 3 to 5, 2026, in Beijing.

CIMX and Sourcing China Collaborate to Enhance Buyer Engagement
Organized by Messe Berlin China, CIMX is positioned as a trade platform for the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) and business travel sector, facilitating connections between international suppliers and corporate buyers.
Focus on Structured Buyer-Supplier Engagement
Under the partnership, Sourcing China will bring a group of corporate decision-makers to CIMX as hosted buyers. These participants are expected to engage with destinations, convention bureaus, venues, hotels, and other MICE suppliers through scheduled one-to-one meetings and networking formats aligned with procurement requirements.
Sourcing China is a procurement-focused organization that connects corporate buyers, sourcing professionals, and industry experts through events, training programs, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Its network includes stakeholders involved in supply chain and procurement functions across Chinese enterprises.
Addressing Changing Procurement Dynamics
The collaboration reflects broader shifts in corporate sourcing, where organizations are aligning business travel, meetings, and event requirements within centralized procurement frameworks. This approach places emphasis on supplier evaluation, cost efficiency, and coordinated decision-making.
CIMX aims to provide a structured environment for these interactions by enabling targeted meetings and facilitating engagement between buyers and suppliers.
Jennifer Gao, Vice President of Sourcing China, stated that the platform offers procurement managers access to a range of suppliers, supporting more efficient evaluation and coordination processes.
Nikolaos Swoch, Director of CIMX at Messe Berlin China, noted that the event is designed to connect decision-makers with suppliers in a focused setting, with the partnership contributing to the participation of corporate stakeholders with defined sourcing requirements.
Expanding Industry Access
The event will also be promoted through Sourcing China’s network, extending outreach to corporate stakeholders involved in business event planning and travel management.
Buyer registration for CIMX 2026 is currently open, with the event positioned as a platform for engagement within China’s business events and MICE sector.
