Conrad Bengaluru Appoints Balu John Maris as Learning & Development Manager

Conrad Bengaluru has appointed Balu John Maris as Learning & Development Manager. In this role, he will lead the hotel’s training and development initiatives.

John Maris brings over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with exposure across India, the Maldives, and the United States. His areas of experience include learning and development, quality assurance, business excellence, and guest experience.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Quality at W Goa, where he was responsible for quality assurance, brand compliance, and guest satisfaction initiatives.

His career also includes roles with organisations such as The Leela, The Lalit, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, and Royal Island Resort & Spa in the Maldives, where he was involved in training programmes and operational development.

In his new role, John Maris will focus on managing learning frameworks, supporting leadership development, and overseeing employee engagement initiatives at the hotel.
