Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata & Ozone Convention Centre has strengthened its Rooms Division leadership team with the appointment of Sudipta Paul as Housekeeping Manager and the promotion of Somosubhra Mukherjee as Front Office Manager.

Somosubhra Mukherjee- Promoted to Front Office Manager

Somosubhra Mukherjee has been promoted to Front Office Manager, marking another significant milestone in his journey with the hotel.

With over 11 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Somusubhra is known for his operational excellence, guest-centric approach, and commitment to enhancing guest satisfaction and service standards.

He has previously worked with leading hospitality brands including The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Radisson, The Lalit Group of Hotels, and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, gaining strong expertise in hotel operations, guest service, and team leadership.

Somusubhra joined Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata & Ozone Convention Centre in 2023 as Duty Manager. His consistent performance and leadership capabilities led to his promotion as Assistant Front Office Manager in 2025, and now to his current role.

In his new position, he will lead the Front Office team, focusing on delivering seamless guest experiences, improving operational efficiency, and upholding Marriott’s standards of hospitality excellence.

Sudipta Paul- Appointed as Housekeeping Manager

The hotel has also appointed Sudipta Paul as Housekeeping Manager.

With over 15 years of industry experience, Sudipta brings deep expertise in housekeeping operations, hygiene management, and service excellence. He has built a strong reputation for maintaining high standards of cleanliness while leading efficient and motivated teams.

Prior to joining Fairfield by Marriott Kolkata, Sudipta served as Assistant Housekeeping Manager at The St. Regis Goa Resort. His career also includes experience with globally recognized hospitality brands such as Marriott International, Accor, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Hilton. He has also gained international exposure through his role at Hilton Al Seef Dubai.

In his new role, Paul will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction across the property.
