Salasar Welcomhotel to Strengthen ITC Hotels’ Rajasthan Presence

ITC Hotels Limited has signed a management agreement for Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Salasar, a new 145-key hotel planned in Salasar, Rajasthan. The project is designed to support the growing demand for pilgrimage tourism, destination weddings, social events and leisure travel in one of the state’s well-known spiritual destinations.

The hotel will be developed on a six-acre site and aims to reflect Rajasthan’s cultural heritage through traditional architectural features, including courtyards, arches, jaalis and regional design elements.

Commenting on the signing, Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited, said Rajasthan continues to attract visitors for its heritage, culture and spiritual destinations, with Salasar playing an important role in the state’s tourism landscape. He added that the new hotel will further strengthen ITC Hotels’ presence across Rajasthan.

The project is being developed in partnership with Envato Retreats Private Limited. Directors Anoop Manglunia and Bajrang Lal Batesar said the partnership with ITC Hotels will help meet the evolving accommodation needs of visitors while combining hospitality with the destination’s cultural traditions.

The proposed hotel will feature 145 guest rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, a lounge, and approximately 12,000 square feet of indoor banqueting and event space. Guests will also have access to a swimming pool, spa, fitness centre and a dedicated children’s club.

Salasar is home to the Salasar Balaji Temple, which attracts a large number of pilgrims throughout the year. The destination has also seen increasing demand for family celebrations and social events, creating opportunities for organised hospitality offerings.

The signing reflects the hotel group’s continued focus on expanding its portfolio across destinations that combine cultural heritage with growing tourism demand throughout India.
