Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport Announces Leadership Promotions

Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport has announced two leadership promotions, appointing Amol Nerurkar as Operations Director and Ataullah Shaikh as Director of Engineering.

Amol Nerurkar- Promoted to Operations Director

Amol Nerurkar has been promoted to Operations Director. He previously served as Director of Food & Beverage, where he was responsible for overseeing the hotel’s F&B operations.

Nerurkar brings over 17 years of hospitality experience across India, the Maldives, Seychelles, Thailand, Malaysia, and the UAE. His career includes roles with Marriott International, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, Constance Hotels & Resorts, and JA Resorts & Hotels.

His experience spans hotel operations, revenue management, guest services, team development, and pre-opening projects. In his new role, he will oversee overall hotel operations, focusing on operational performance and service delivery.

Ataullah Shaikh- Promoted to Director of Engineering

Ataullah Shaikh has been promoted to Director of Engineering. He previously served as Head of Engineering at the hotel.

Shaikh brings over 21 years of experience in hospitality engineering and technical operations. His career includes roles with Novotel Juhu, Sofitel Mumbai, Sofitel Bahrain, Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa Dubai, InterContinental, The Lalit Mumbai, Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, and SILA Facility Management.

At Holiday Inn Mumbai International Airport, he has been involved in maintenance planning, energy management, and infrastructure operations. In his new role, he will oversee engineering functions, including maintenance, safety systems, and technical operations.
