The Orchid Hotel Mumbai Appoints Gaurav Shiva as General Manager

The Orchid Hotel Mumbai has appointed Gaurav Shiva as General Manager.
Gaurav brings over 29 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, with exposure to hotel operations, culinary, food and beverage, sales and marketing, and business management. In his new role, he will oversee overall hotel operations and business performance.

He began his career with the Taj Group of Hotels after graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. His early experience included roles across multiple properties, followed by international assignments with Carnival Cruise Lines in the United States and at Georges Blanc restaurant in France.
Over the years, Gaurav has held leadership roles with organisations including Carlson Hotels & Resorts, Accor Hotels, and Royal Orchid Hotels. His experience includes hotel openings, operational management, and roles across food and beverage, sales, and general management functions.
Gaurav’s career includes involvement in the launch of Radisson Resort & Spa, Alibaug, as well as leadership assignments across cities including Bengaluru, Mysore, Goa, and Chennai. Prior to joining The Orchid Hotel Mumbai, he held General Manager and General Manager Delegate roles with Royal Orchid Hotels and Accor.
