The Hari to Open First Hotel in Singapore

Harilela Hotels Brings The Hari to Singapore in 2027

Harilela Hotels has announced the expansion of The Hari brand to Singapore, making it the third destination for the hotel collection after London and Hong Kong.

Scheduled to open in spring 2027, The Hari Singapore will be developed by transforming the existing Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre. The hotel will feature 326 guestrooms, a rooftop swimming pool, executive lounge, restaurants, wellness facilities and a rotating collection of curated artwork, reflecting the brand’s design-led identity.

Located in the heart of Singapore, the hotel is expected to cater to both business and leisure travellers while expanding The Hari’s footprint in Asia.

The interiors will be designed by British designer Tara Bernerd, who also led the design of The Hari London and The Hari Hong Kong. Her design approach combines contemporary interiors with elements inspired by the local destination, creating spaces that reflect Singapore’s culture and urban character.

Commenting on the announcement, Dr Aron Harilela, Founder of The Hari, said the Singapore property represents an important step in the brand’s international expansion and reflects its focus on hospitality, culture and design.

The Hari Singapore will become the third property under the brand. The Hari London opened in 2016, followed by The Hari Hong Kong in 2020.

Founded in 1959, the Harilela Group remains family-owned and operates 15 hotels across Hong Kong, China, Asia, Europe and the United States through Harilela Hotels.

The Singapore opening will further strengthen the group’s presence in Asia while adding another destination to The Hari portfolio.
