Karnataka Tourism Society Wraps Up Gujarat B2B Roadshows
Gujarat Roadshows Strengthen Karnataka Tourism Trade Outreach
The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS), in association with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) and Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR), has concluded its Gujarat Series B2B Tourism Roadshows.
Held from 24 to 27 June 2026, the roadshows covered Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat, bringing together more than 600 travel trade buyers and 40 tourism stakeholders from Karnataka.
The roadshows provided a platform for tourism businesses to connect with travel agents and tour operators while showcasing Karnataka’s diverse tourism offerings, including heritage, culture, wildlife, eco-tourism, adventure, wellness and hospitality.
The Karnataka delegation included hotels, resorts, destination management companies, tour operators and tourism organisations representing destinations across the state. Participants engaged in business meetings aimed at strengthening partnerships and promoting Karnataka as a preferred travel destination.
To encourage greater engagement, each event featured quizzes on Karnataka’s tourist attractions and raffle draws, with winners receiving complimentary hotel stay vouchers and gift hampers.
Speaking on the occasion, K. Syama Raju, President of the Karnataka Tourism Society, said Gujarat remains an important domestic source market for Karnataka tourism. He added that the roadshows helped strengthen relationships with the travel trade while building on the momentum of recent destination promotion initiatives, including the Discover Chikkamagaluru campaign.
Jagadeesh H., Secretary of the Karnataka Tourism Society, said the roadshows highlighted the value of collaboration between government agencies and private tourism stakeholders. He added that KTS plans to continue its domestic outreach through a series of B2B roadshows across Mumbai, Rajasthan, Punjab, NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana later this year.
The Gujarat series forms part of Karnataka Tourism Society’s broader strategy to strengthen trade partnerships, increase destination awareness and support tourism growth across key domestic markets.
