Kanruethai Roongruang Appointed as General Manager at Avani+ Hua Hin Resort

Minor Hotels has appointed Kanruethai Roongruang as General Manager of Avani+ Hua Hin Resort.

Kanruethai has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality sector, with work across Thailand and international markets. Her background includes roles in resort operations, wellness, commercial strategy, and business development.
Prior to this appointment, she served as Chief Executive Officer of Island Escape Burasari and Burasari Residences in Phuket, where she was responsible for overseeing operations, commercial performance, and property development. Her role also included managing the operations of Island Escape Burasari on Coconut Island.
She has also held leadership roles with Banyan Group in Thailand and the Maldives. As General Manager of Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru and Dhawa Ihuru in the Maldives, she managed operations across two resort properties.
In her new role at Avani+ Hua Hin Resort, Kanruethai will oversee overall operations, guest experience, commercial performance, and team management at the property.
