Balvinder Sahrawat Promoted to Vice President – Development, South Asia at Accor

Accor has promoted Balvinder Sahrawat to the role of Vice President – Development, South Asia. The move follows his 17-year tenure with the company, during which he has held roles across real estate investment, hospitality operations, and development.

In his new position, Sahrawat will be responsible for leading Accor’s development strategy across South Asia. His role includes overseeing portfolio expansion, driving new signings, and aligning brand placement with market opportunities across the region.
Sahrawat has been involved in the company’s expansion efforts in India and South Asia, including work related to greenfield developments, real estate acquisitions, and network growth. He has also contributed to the execution of franchise agreements and management contracts, supporting the addition of multiple properties across the region.
He will continue to work with property owners, developers, and investors as part of Accor’s regional growth plans. As a member of the South Asia Leadership Team, he will focus on strengthening development pipelines and supporting long-term partnerships.
