Khyber Wellness Retreats Offer Mindful Escapes in the Himalayas

The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Gulmarg, in collaboration with JogaRetreats, has announced two wellness retreats scheduled for July and August 2026. Designed around mindfulness, movement and nature, the programmes offer guests an opportunity to reconnect with themselves in the tranquil surroundings of the Kashmir Himalayas.

Set amid Gulmarg’s forests, meadows and mountain landscapes, the retreats combine guided wellness practices with experiences at The Khyber Spa by L’OCCITANE. Each programme is tailored to different wellness goals, ranging from relaxation and reflection to a more immersive wellbeing journey.

To maintain an intimate experience, participation is limited to 20 couples for each retreat.

The Khyber Solace | 24–26 July 2026

The Khyber Solace is a two-night retreat designed for guests seeking a mindful break from daily routines. The programme focuses on relaxation through yoga, meditation, guided nature walks and wellness activities.

Evening experiences include open-air bonfire gatherings, reflective conversations and wellbeing sessions aimed at encouraging relaxation and connection.

Packages start from INR 75,000 for two nights and include accommodation for couples, daily breakfast, curated dinners, wellness sessions by JogaRetreats, guided nature experiences and selected benefits at The Khyber Spa by L’OCCITANE.

The Khyber Wellness Odyssey | 26–30 August 2026

The Khyber Wellness Odyssey is a four-night programme designed for guests looking for a deeper wellbeing experience. The retreat includes yoga, meditation, sound healing, nutritional wellness sessions and guided reflective practices.

The programme also incorporates emotional well-being activities focused on self-awareness, stress management and personal development, alongside outdoor experiences that make use of Gulmarg’s natural surroundings.

Packages start from INR 1,75,000 for four nights and include accommodation, daily breakfast, curated dinners, wellness sessions, nature-based activities, private airport transfers and selected spa benefits.

Wellness in a Himalayan Setting

Located in Gulmarg’s Pir Panjal range, the resort offers access to mountain landscapes, pine forests and outdoor recreation. The resort also features The Khyber Spa by L’OCCITANE, a wellness facility with treatment rooms, a fitness centre and a heated indoor swimming pool.
