Ray Hotel by Cloud 7 appoints Mohammad Taha as General Manager

Kerten Hospitality has announced the appointment of Mohammad Taha as General Manager of Ray Hotel by Cloud 7.

Mohammad brings over 25 years of international hospitality experience, with a background across luxury and lifestyle hotel segments in the Middle East and Southern Asia. In his new role, he will oversee the hotel’s strategic direction, daily operations, guest experience, and commercial performance.

His career includes leadership roles across multiple markets, including Jordan, Qatar, Vietnam, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. He has experience in hotel openings, operational management, food and beverage strategy, and talent development, with a focus on delivering consistent guest experiences.

Ray Hotel by Cloud 7, operated under the Cloud 7 brand, is a recently opened lifestyle property in Mangaf overlooking the Arabian Gulf, with a focus on design-led hospitality, wellness, dining, and community-driven experiences.

In his new role, Mohammad will support the property’s positioning within Kuwait’s hospitality market, including the development of guest programming and upcoming dining concepts such as Joontos Restaurant, while aligning with the group’s broader expansion strategy in the region.
