Delta Launches Campaign Supporting Team USA Ahead of Milano Cortina 2026

Delta Air Lines has introduced a new marketing campaign recognizing the journeys of Team USA athletes as they prepare for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. As the Official Airline of Team USA, the campaign focuses on the preparation, commitment, and experiences that shape athletes’ paths to the Games.

The campaign begins with a series of brand films developed around themes of training, travel, and purpose. The first spot, “Altitude,” is set to premiere on television during the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The film highlights high-altitude training and its role in building physical endurance, while drawing a visual parallel between an athlete’s preparation and the trajectory of a Delta flight to Milan.

A second film, “Commit to Fly,” focuses on the moment Team USA athletes check in for their journey to Italy. The narrative centers on the significance of that moment, representing years of training and preparation. Designed with a Paralympic focus, the film contrasts athletes’ lives before competition with their experiences during the Games, positioning travel as part of a broader personal and competitive journey.

The third film, “What We Carry,” explores what athletes bring with them beyond physical luggage. Using the movement of a baggage carousel as a visual structure, the spot highlights experiences, emotions, and collective support as central elements of the journey to Milan.

In addition to broadcast advertising, Delta is extending the campaign across social media platforms through behind-the-scenes content, athlete-led storytelling, and features designed to connect audiences with the Games and the people competing in them.

Delta is also introducing an interview series that presents travel as a narrative framework. Hosted by Serena Kerrigan, the first episode features Team USA athlete ambassador Lindsey Vonn, who discusses her preparation for a potential final competition in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Each episode follows the rhythm of a journey, from check-in through boarding.

Throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Delta plans to share additional content including athlete profiles, behind-the-scenes features, and day-in-the-life coverage. The programming is intended to highlight both Olympic and Paralympic athletes, with a focus on preparation, perseverance, and the broader meaning of their journeys to Milano Cortina 2026.
