APPOINTMENT
Hyatt Regency Chennai has announced the promotion of Lakshmi Nandagopal to the role of Director of Human Resources.

She holds over 20 years of experience in people management and operations.
Lakshmi joined Hyatt Regency Chennai in January 2023 as Human Resources Manager. Known for her strategic vision, empathetic leadership, and hands-on approach, she has successfully led initiatives in talent acquisition, workforce engagement, payroll management, and succession planning.
Prior to joining Hyatt, she held significant HR leadership positions at Radisson Blu City Centre, Holiday Inn OMR IT Expressway (IHG Group), The Ascott Limited – Somerset Greenways Chennai, and Marriott International.
Her track record includes managing HR functions for diverse workforces, strategic thinking, spearheading large-scale recruitment drives, and introducing associate welfare programs.
In her new role as Director of Human Resources, Lakshmi will focus on strategic workforce planning, employee well-being, leadership development, and fostering an inclusive workplace culture that empowers associates to excel. She will also drive initiatives that strengthen Hyatt Regency Chennai’s position as an employer of choice in the hospitality industry.
