Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Ginger Goa, Candolim, embodying the brand’s lean luxe philosophy.

Speaking on the occasion, Puneet Chhatwal, managing director & CEO, IHCL, said, “For over five decades, IHCL has maintained its pioneering leadership in the state of Goa since the opening of Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa, in 1974.  IHCL today has a significant footprint with a portfolio of 16 hotels across all its brands and 41 amã Stays & Trails bungalows and two airline catering units in Dabolim and MOPA.”

He added, “The re-imagined Ginger began its journey in Goa in 2018, and since has become a portfolio of 100 hotels. The opening of 262 key Ginger Candolim aligns with the brand’s growth strategy of large-format hotels in key lodging markets of the country.”

Located within walking distance of Candolim and Moterio beaches, the 262-key Ginger Goa, Candolim features the brand’s signature Qmin restaurant and bar. The hotel offers recreational activities including a swimming pool with panoramic views of the surroundings and a kids play area. Hotel features over 4,500 sq. ft. of versatile meeting and banqueting spaces to host corporate meeting and social gatherings. 

Candolim, a picturesque coastal village, is renowned for its pristine beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural heritage.
