WelcomHeritage Opens Arka Resort & Spa in Rishikesh
WelcomHeritage has launched the WelcomHeritage Arka Resort & Spa in Rishikesh, a retreat situated against the Shivalik range. Spanning 3.5 acres at an elevation of 4,300 feet, the property is located at Patti Talla in Village Kund Silogi, along Lansdowne Road in Yamkeshwar. The resort offers views of blue-toned mountains, natural ponds (known as “kunds”), and the point where the Ganges River flows into the plains. The 30-kilometer drive from Tapovan passes through Rajaji National Park, an area rich in diverse wildlife, including endemic birds, deer, and leopards.
Arka draws inspiration from the five elements of nature, seamlessly combining contemporary comforts with the tranquility of the Himalayas. The resort offers 25 chalets, divided into four categories: Deluxe Chalets, Family Chalets, Premium Chalets, and a Luxury Chalet, which features a private pool. The chalets feature Tudor-style architecture, pine log ceilings, large windows, and understated interiors, all of which contribute to a refined rustic character. Each accommodation is equipped with essential modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning/heating, a flat-screen TV, a tea/coffee maker, a minibar, and an electronic safe.

Additional facilities include a swimming pool, a yoga room, a gym (opening soon), nature trails, and birdwatching experiences.
The resort offers event spaces, including a central lawn accommodating up to 50 guests, a poolside area accommodating up to 80 guests, and a larger event lawn suitable for gatherings of up to 400 guests, catering to celebrations, corporate retreats, and small-scale events.
WelcomHeritage Arka Resort & Spa is accessible via Dehradun Airport (66 km) and is approximately 295 km from Delhi. It is also 15 km from the upcoming Byasi Railway Station, which is expected to open later this year. Nearby attractions include Patna Waterfalls, Ganga Beach, Phoolchatti Ashram Ganga Ghat, Jumpin Heights Bungee, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, rafting points, Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, and several scenic viewpoints.
