Air France Launches Direct Paris-Manila Flights

Air France is expanding its network throughout Asia. Starting on December 7, 2024, it will connect Manila (Philippines) to its international hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The airline will fly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays for three weeks in a row. The Airbus A350-900 used by Air France to fly the Paris-Manila route will have 266 seats in economy, 24 in premium, and 34 in business.

Flight Times (Local Time):

AF208: Leaving Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 11:20 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, arriving in Manila at 7:30 pm (next day),

AF209: Leaving Manila at 9:50 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arriving at Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 5:50 am (next day). This flight schedule remains subject to government approval.

Manila is also a KLM destination, with four flights a week from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Air France and KLM coordinate their respective flight schedules to ensure a combined daily service to Manila.

Discovering Manila

Manila, the Philippines’ capital, offers a fusion of the old and the new. New skyscrapers rise above the remnants of the nation’s lengthy colonial past, such as Fort Santiago and the baroque San Agustin Church. This melting pot of cultures has also resulted in a distinctive and well-known culinary heritage. The Philippines, an archipelago of 7,000 islands, is known for its beautiful landscapes, which include emerald rice terraces, limestone cliffs, turquoise lagoons, and white sand beaches.

This winter, Air France will also fly to the following Asian locations in addition to Manila: Tokyo Haneda (up to 15 weekly flights), Osaka (up to 3 weekly flights), Beijing (up to 7 weekly flights), Shanghai (up to 7 weekly flights), Hong Kong (up to 7 weekly flights), Seoul (up to 7 weekly flights), Bangkok (up to 13 weekly flights), Singapore (up to 10 weekly flights), and Ho Chi Minh City (3 weekly flights).

Manila’s launch signifies Air France’s fifth new route for the winter 2024–2025 season. The airline will launch new routes to Salvador de Bahia (Brazil), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Malé (Maldives), Kiruna (Sweden), and Zanzibar (Zanzibar), as well as an extension from Zanzibar to November 18 (three flights per week starting on November 18).
