Sofitel Dubai Downtown has announced the appointment of Chef Edward Mair as its new Executive Chef.
With over two decades of extensive experience handling kitchen operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, Chef Edward will bring a blend of classical training and inventive knowledge. Edward is widely recognized for his ability to lead large culinary teams, fostering efficient team work, and curating innovative menus.
Chef Edward has also spearheaded hotel openings of many Michelin-recommended venues and has earned a reputation for delivering elevated dining experiences.
At Sofitel Dubai Downtown, Chef Mair will take the charge of the hotel’s gastronomic portfolio spanning restaurants, lounges, in-room dining, and banqueting. His focus will be to craft a distinctive culinary identity rooted in French savoir-faire while embracing the cosmopolitan energy of Downtown Dubai.
