Radisson Blu Udaipur Welcomes New VP of Commercials

APPOINTMENT

Radisson Blu Palace Resort and Spa in Udaipur has promoted Poonam Nair to Vice President of Commercials. In her new role, she will oversee key functions such as projects, purchasing, accounts, sales, and marketing. She will also continue to focus on business development and explore growth opportunities by closely working with high-revenue-generating domains, including food and beverage, banquets, spas, and transportation.

Nair has been associated with the brand for over a decade. She began her journey at the property as the sales head for Gujarat and later took on the role of VP of sales and marketing. Under her leadership, the palace has undergone significant transformation and witnessed unprecedented growth, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for weddings and diverse events. Nair has successfully executed numerous high-profile events at the property, including Neil Nitin Mukesh’s wedding, Isha Ambani’s pre-wedding functions, as well as prestigious gatherings like the GST and G20 Summits, famous car launches, award functions, and MICE events.

With over 17 years of experience, Nair has gained valuable expertise across operations and sales domains. Her career journey began as a management trainee at Leela Mumbai, followed by becoming the youngest bar manager at Westin Mumbai Garden City. After that, she was appointed as the youngest assistant food and beverage manager at Orchid Mumbai, where she headed a team of 130 professionals in the bustling environment of an airport hotel.
