Novotel Goa Welcomes New GM

APPOINTMENT

Novotel Goa Candolim and Novotel Goa Resort & Spa have appointed Sachin Maheshwary as their general manager. Maheshwary, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, will oversee the growth and management of 270 keys across both properties. He will leverage his extensive knowledge of the Novotel brand and his skills as an F&B Alchemist for Accor in India & South Asia.

In his new role, Maheshwary’s primary focus will be elevating both Novotel properties through strategic initiatives in F&B and enhancing staff training to ensure a higher level of guest experience and service. He also aims to incorporate local elements by collaborating with local communities and implementing sustainable practices. With his previous experience working with the Novotel brand, Maheshwary profoundly understands the brand’s goals, service standards, and identity. His extensive knowledge and innovative ideas are expected to enhance the brand’s overall image.

Maheshwary joined Accor in 2016 as the executive assistant manager at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach and has since played a crucial role in the brand’s growth and success in India. He has also led two pre-opening projects as a general manager at Novotel Kochi Info Park Kochi and Grand Mercure Bengaluru at Gopalan Mall, Bengaluru. His achievements include introducing multiple F&B programs, training, and support frameworks for the food and beverage team across the region as the F&B Alchemist for India & South Asia and winning the Times Best Hospitality Project for the year 2022.
