IHG Signs Four UK Hotel Agreements with Fairview Hotels Across voco and Garner Brands
IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing and opening of four hotel properties in partnership with Fairview Hotels across the United Kingdom. The portfolio additions include voco London – Bloomsbury, Garner Hotel Lincoln, Garner Hotel Rotherham East, and Garner Hotel Chesterfield North.
The four properties collectively add more than 380 rooms to IHG’s UK and Ireland pipeline, supporting its continued expansion across both premium and midscale segments. The agreements also reflect IHG’s ongoing focus on conversion-led growth through brands such as voco and Garner.

Commenting on the announcement, Willemijn Geels, Vice President, Development, Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the new signings extend the company’s partnership with Fairview Hotels to six properties and support IHG’s development strategy in the UK market.
voco London – Bloomsbury will add 114 rooms to IHG’s premium portfolio in London. Located on Southampton Row, the hotel sits close to Kimpton Fitzroy London and Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury, further strengthening IHG’s presence in the Bloomsbury area. The property, housed in a Victorian-era building, is expected to complete its rebranding as voco and open in mid-2026, while continuing to operate during the transition.

The agreement also includes three new Garner-branded hotels, expanding the brand’s footprint across regional UK markets. Garner Hotel Rotherham East, a 91-room property in Bramley, opened in January 2025 and benefits from proximity to Junction 1 of the M18, providing access to nearby business and leisure centres.
Garner Hotel Lincoln, scheduled to open in February 2026, will offer 91 rooms in North Hykeham, with access to the A46 and Lincoln Central Station. The location places the hotel close to retail, leisure, and industrial areas, as well as key city attractions.

Also opening in February 2026, the 91-room Garner Hotel Chesterfield North is located in Balborough, Derbyshire, near Junction 30 of the M1. The area supports business travel demand and offers access to regional leisure destinations.
A spokesperson for Fairview Hotels said the group is pleased to expand its relationship with IHG through the voco and Garner brands, following earlier collaboration experiences, and looks forward to introducing these hotels in locations with established demand.
The four properties will join IHG’s UK and Ireland portfolio, which includes more than 400 open and pipeline hotels as of September 30, 2025.
