IHG Hotels & Resorts expands premium portfolio with Crowne Plaza

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a management agreement with IVY Hotels & Resorts to establish the first Crowne Plaza hotel in Uttarakhand. This strategic development is expected to add 110 keys to IHG’s portfolio in the state and exemplifies the company’s commitment to expanding its portfolio in popular leisure destinations across India. The Crowne Plaza Dehradun Rajpur Road hotel will be located in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, which is a renowned leisure destination, and fast-growing economic centre. The hotel will offer a blend of
premium hospitality and convenience to guests, with a positioning that provides easy access to a market encompassing leisure, corporate, SME, and MICE sectors. The hotel is scheduled to open in April 2028. 

Once opened, the hotel will feature 110 rooms with ample and modern spaces. For guests looking to indulge in exceptional culinary experiences, the new hotel will offer all-day dining, a specialty restaurant, a bar, and a lobby lounge, catering to diverse guest preferences. For guests looking to unwind and relax, the hotel will boast a fully equipped fitness center, swimming pool, club lounge, rejuvenating spa, as well as a retail store.
