IHG Signs Dual Hotel Agreement in Riyadh and Al Khobar
IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a dual management agreement with Mosa bin Abdul Aziz Al-Mosa and Sons Real Estate Holding Co., introducing two new properties in Saudi Arabia: Crowne Plaza Al Khobar Al Bandariyah (232 keys) and Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard (106 keys). The signings support IHG’s continued expansion in the Kingdom in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Crowne Plaza Al Khobar Al Bandariyah, scheduled to open in Q1 2027, will be situated near the Corniche, offering access to Dammam and King Fahd International Airport. The hotel will offer meeting spaces and social areas designed for work, collaboration, and relaxation.
Holiday Inn Riyadh Rose Yard, set to open in late 2026, will be situated in the Al-Suwaidi district, providing convenient access to the Diplomatic Quarter and Diriyah Gate. The hotel will feature the brand’s updated standards, including the Open Lobby concept, designed as a multifunctional space for dining, working, and unwinding.
Haitham Mattar, Managing Director, India, Middle East and Africa, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the agreement strengthens IHG’s alignment with Saudi Arabia’s tourism development goals, adding that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding hospitality offerings across key cities.

Abdulaziz bin Mosa Al-Mosa, Vice Chairman of the Board, Mosa bin Abdulaziz Al-Mosa and Sons Group Real Estate Holding, stated that the collaboration supports the company’s strategy of growing its hospitality assets in markets such as Riyadh and the Eastern Province, contributing to the group’s objective of developing more than 1,000 hotel rooms by 2030.
Guests at both hotels will have access to the IHG One Rewards loyalty program, offering benefits such as suite upgrades, lounge access, and extended check-out times based on tier status.
IHG currently operates 46 hotels across six brands in Saudi Arabia, with an additional 60 properties in the development pipeline expected to open over the next few years.
