Hyatt Place Shenzhen Longgang Opens in Shenzhen’s Longgang District

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Place Shenzhen Longgang, expanding the brand’s presence in Shenzhen, China. The property is the third hotel of its kind in the city and is part of the company’s ongoing expansion in key urban markets across the region. Located in the Longgang district within the Shenzhen–Dongguan–Huizhou metropolitan area, the hotel is near the Longgang Universiade Centre. The surrounding area includes government offices, commercial developments, and transport links, making it accessible for both business and leisure travellers.

According to General Manager Robin Huang, the hotel’s location near Tian’an Digital City and the Universiade Centre provides access to transportation networks and city attractions, while the property’s design supports both work and relaxation for guests.

Guestrooms, Facilities, and Dining Options

Hyatt Place Shenzhen Longgang features 225 guestrooms designed with separate areas for sleeping, working, and relaxing. Each room includes a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper and a functional workspace to accommodate different types of travellers.

Dining options include The Kitchen, which offers breakfast with a mix of Cantonese dim sum and Western dishes. The Lobby Bar serves coffee, beer, wine, and cocktails throughout the day.

Additional amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property, a 24-hour self-service laundry, a fitness centre, and the brand’s Necessities programme, which allows guests to purchase or borrow essential items. The hotel also includes a rooftop helipad, available on request for arrival and departure services.
