Minor Hotels has successfully concluded a three-city India roadshow in Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad introducing signature travel experiences to Indian travel agents. The events saw representatives from 26 Minor properties from the Middle East, Europe, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Mauritius meet the country’s leading travel agencies, luxury wedding planners and MICE companies for a series of networking events and sales calls. Representatives from over 400 local companies participated in the three-city programme that also showcased new products tailored to the important Indian market as growth with Indian travellers is poised to continue internationally including destination weddings and multi-generational trips. Minor Hotels, a global hotel owner and operator with more than 550 properties in 56 countries, is also set to intensify its presence in the dynamic Indian hospitality market, targeting 50 new openings within the country in the next decade, with the first Anantara branded property opening in Jaipur later this year.
