A new Ginger is coming to Maharashtra

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of its seventh Ginger hotel in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. This greenfield project embodies Ginger’s design philosophy, offering guests a blend of work and leisure.

Speaking on the occasion, Suma Venkatesh, executive vice president- Real Estate and Development stated, “Bhiwandi, a thriving commercial hub, has witnessed significant growth in the warehousing and logistics sector. The signing of Ginger Bhiwandi is in line with our commitment of expanding our footprint in such emerging micro markets. We are delighted to partner with RNP Warehousing and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. on this project.”

Located along the Mumbai-Nashik Highway, the 151-key Ginger Bhiwandi, MMR will feature the brand’s all-day diner, Qmin, which offers a variety of cuisines. The hotel will also house a fitness centre, a swimming pool and event spaces including a banquet hall spanning over 2,000 sq. ft. with meeting rooms and pre-function areas.

Bhiwandi, located in the Thane district of Maharashtra, is a crucial part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. In recent years, given its proximity to the Nhava Sheva port, Bhiwandi has become one of the largest warehousing and logistics hubs in Asia. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 37 hotels in Maharashtra including 13 under development.
