Belfast Welcomes DoubleTree by Hilton

Hilton has confirmed the addition of the DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square through a franchise agreement with the Loughview Leisure Group. Located in the Linen Quarter right next to Belfast City Hall, the hotel provides easy access to the city’s premier attractions. Visitors can explore Belfast’s rich heritage at Titanic Belfast, the famous location where the renowned ship was constructed, or stroll through the lively Cathedral Quarter. Nature lovers can take advantage of over 3,000 acres of beautiful parks. For those coming from afar, the hotel is just an 11-minute drive from George Best Belfast City Airport and a 30-minute car ride from Belfast International Airport.

The hotel is set to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation before aligning with the brand later this year. It offers 131 guest rooms and suites, including the Jaffe Penthouse, with many rooms showcasing beautiful city and hillside views. Additionally, the hotel features various dining and leisure options. The Linen Bar on the ground floor pays tribute to Belfast’s history as a key linen production centre, merging historical appeal with a modern flair. Guests can also visit The Doffer, a chic tap room on the ground floor open on Fridays and Saturdays, or enjoy expertly crafted dishes at Jospers Steakhouse. The Loft Lounge, a rooftop bar with an outdoor terrace, boasts breathtaking city views.

Belfast ranks among the fastest-growing knowledge economies worldwide and is celebrated for its technology, research, and innovation centres. It has emerged as a top choice for business travel, featuring over 1,000 significant international companies in the digital, financial, and science sectors. The hotel, equipped with four adaptable meeting rooms, provides a perfect setting for conferences and events.

In 2023, Northern Ireland’s overseas tourism brought in £672 million, representing over half of total visitor spending. This underscores Belfast’s increasing prominence as an essential location for business and leisure activities.

This announcement represents a significant advancement in Hilton’s growth throughout Northern Ireland. It follows the recent addition of DoubleTree by Hilton Derry-Londonderry and The Marcus Hotel Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, both set to open this year. Additionally, the Loughview Leisure Group has just completed a multi-million-pound refurbishment of DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast Templepatrick at the Kingfisher Country Estate, which includes a thorough renovation of all guest rooms, spa amenities, public spaces, and the expansive 220-acre golf course.
