Accor Expands Portfolio with Mercure Nha Trang

Accor is increasing its footprint in Vietnam by signing Mercure Nha Trang. This most recent hotel agreement, the Group’s ninth in the country this year, will significantly expand Accor’s portfolio in Vietnam. Mercure will be available in the beachfront city of Nha Trang, and the beach hotel is anticipated to open in late 2025.

The 124 guestrooms at Mercure Nha Trang, located on Tran Phu Street, provide coastline views. The hotel will include necessary services, such as an all-day dining restaurant, a bar lounge, a fitness centre, a spa, and adaptable conference rooms, to suit the demands of its customers, whether they are travelling for business, pleasure, or a combination of the two.

Mercure hotels offer a pleasant entryway to the area and an invitation to explore. The company provides excellent standards that are deeply ingrained in the community. Mercure ensures that they are surrounded by a setting influenced by the area as soon as they arrive. Each component, such as speciality foods and beverages and decorative arts, is thoughtfully selected to embody the unique essence of each place.

Garth Simmons, COO of Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division in Asia

Garth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer of Accor’s Premium, Midscale, and Economy Division in Asia, commented, Vietnam is a fast-growing market with significant potential for continued expansion. As an emerging destination with vibrant tourism appeal, Nha Trang presents a prime opportunity to introduce the Mercure brand to a broader audience. The demand for high-quality hospitality connecting guests to the local culture continues to rise, and Mercure is well-positioned to meet these evolving expectations. The signing of Mercure Nha Trang underscores our strategic focus on expanding our presence in Vietnam, where we see continued demand for locally inspired, world-class hospitality.”

Accor’s presence in Vietnam is increasing. The Group closed eight new partnerships countrywide in established and emerging regions earlier this year. Mercure Ha Long City Center, Novotel Danang Nam An, ibis Danang Nam An, ibis Styles Danang Nam An, Phu Yen Handwritten Collection, ibis Phu Yen Tuy Hoa Beach Resort, Mercure Extended Stay Grand Mercure Living Saigon Riverside, and TRIBE Saigon Airport were among them. One of the leading international operators in Vietnam, Accor manages 43 hotels with 10,662 keys. Furthermore, the Group’s pipeline of more than 65 properties and 24,000 keys in Vietnam attests to its commitment to growing in this thriving market.
