Grand Hyatt Singapore Reopens After Multi-Year Transformation
Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the reopening of Grand Hyatt Singapore following a multi-year transformation. Located on Orchard Road, the redesigned property introduces new spaces that combine design, culture, dining, wellbeing, and sustainability initiatives.

“For over five decades, we have delivered signature service with our trusted team of colleagues. This grand reintroduction reflects our continued commitment to premium offerings, modern relevance, and heartfelt hospitality that endures, creating lasting memories for all who visit.”
Two Wings

The Grand Wing, designed by Tokyo-based Strickland, features 407 rooms and suites with open layouts, seating areas, and bathrooms with stone finishes. Peranakan-inspired details and geometric patterns highlight Singapore’s cultural influences, while the building’s original octagonal motif is retained.
The Terrace Wing, designed in collaboration with U.K.-based Grant Associates, features 292 rooms situated within landscaped greenery, water features, and natural design elements. Five Garden Studio Rooms provide direct access to the wellness lawn and pool.

The property features 699 rooms and suites, including three Grand Presidential Suites, each designed for private gatherings with dining and living areas, a kitchen, curated artwork, and stunning city views. A greater number of connecting room options has been added for families and groups.
Dining
Grand Hyatt Singapore now houses seven dining venues. Highlights include:
Le Pristine Singapore, led by Michelin-starred Chef Sergio Herman, combines Italian cuisine with Zeeland influences.
StraitsKitchen, a Halal-certified buffet featuring Singaporean classics.
Pete’s Place is an Italian trattoria serving traditional dishes and wines.
Oasis, a poolside dining space.
BRIX is a live entertainment venue with three themed sections.
10|Scotts, offering Mediterranean-style small plates and afternoon tea.
Martini Bar and The Shop café and retail space.
Wellness
The new Damai wellness centre features treatments incorporating light therapy, heat, natural minerals, and hydro-thermal experiences. It also features an extensive fitness facility with Technogym equipment, outdoor wellness lawns, and HYROX training.

Sustainability
Grand Hyatt Singapore operates on 100% renewable electricity. Its initiatives include an aquaponics system for converting food waste, carbon tracking for dishes, a WasteMaster system, RFID-enabled laundry, and an in-house water bottling plant. The hotel is GSTC-certified and has received Green Mark Platinum distinction from Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority.
